Le site archéologique sur lequel a été découvert une synagogue du premier siècle et dans laquelle Jésus a probablement prêché a été inauguré le 28 mai dernier. Le Patriarche latin Mgr Fouad Twal a consacré l’église Duc in Altum dans le village de Marie-Madeleine. Les autorités de l’État d’Israël, le nonce apostolique et les représentants des diverses confessions chrétiennes présentes en Terre Sainte ont assisté à la célébration.
