Dans le monde occidental, de grandes victoires ont été remportées en faveur de la femme pour lui permettre d’obtenir les mêmes droits que l’homme. On ne peut penser l’Occident en le détachant de ses racines chrétiennes. Il faut donc admettre - et pour cela montrer - que la philosophie et la théologie chrétiennes ont œuvré en faveur d’une véritable évolution positive de la condition féminine.
